Pain management covers an array of conditions including: post-surgical pain, neck pain and headache, neuralgia, acute pain as a result of injury or illness, back problems, arthritis, cancer, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, shingles and muscular conditions, as well post-amputation pain.
A number of patients of NYEE’s Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology Departments may have concomitant conditions that would benefit from Pain Management. Now it is available to augment other specialized medical and surgical treatments for persons with persistent or chronic pain. The Service is also open to referrals from outside physicians as well as the 500-plus member Medical Staff of NYEE.
The Pain Management Service will have office hours every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 7 PM by appointment only, with surgical procedures performed on Fridays. Please call (646) 943-7900.
