New York, NY (March 2011) -- A special benefit performance of “Mary Poppins” headlines the second annual theater benefit and luncheon for The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary on Sunday, April 3, from 1 PM to 6 PM at The New Amsterdam Theatre. Located on 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, it is one of New York City’s oldest surviving Broadway theaters.
The benefit and luncheon will be hosted by pediatric ophthalmologist, Brian Campolattaro, MD, his wife, Wendy, and New York Eye and Ear’s child ambassadors, Lillian Pravda and Austin Pearce. All proceeds will benefit Lillian’s Vision for and From Children Fund and Austin’s Kids’ Ophthalmology Fund, both of which support new equipment and staff needs for pediatric ophthalmology and orthoptics.

The New Amsterdam Room
The luncheon will take place from 1 to 2:30 PM in The New Amsterdam Room, a dramatic dining space within the theater itself. The matinee of “Mary Poppins” is 3 to 6 PM.
