The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary has been serving patients for nearly 200 years. Our advanced diagnosis and treatment capabilities, and research, has continued to place NYEE among the top specialty hospitals in the nation. High quality health care, however, comes at an enormous price. In order for NYEE to continue its excellence into a third century, we must rely on you, our devoted and generous patients and friends, for support.
Unrestricted giving through our General Fund is one of the most precious resources available to The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. An unrestricted gift simply is a contribution which is not directed toward a particular program or service. This most flexible way to support the Infirmary allows us to fund programs and services which are in the greatest need.
By supporting NYEE’s General Fund, you are helping us with Children’s Services, patient care, research, infrastructure improvement, purchaser of advanced technology and equipment, physician training, and so much more. Indeed, unrestricted giving is considered the lifeblood of the Infirmary, and without it, we could not exist.
Gifts of any amount are deeply appreciated and can be restricted for a specific program, medical research, capital improvements, purchase of sophisticated equipment, and countless other opportunities.
Below are just a few examples of ways you can support The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary . Of course, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss other areas of interest and help structure a gift that is just right for you.
Please feel free to contact Carol Bohdan, Vice President for Development at (212) 979-4019 for assistance.
